Southern soul is a full-band, full-voice format, and it sounds wrong on a system built for a DJ. 3D Productions produces southern soul and blues concerts with the input count, the monitor world and the warmth the music actually needs.
Drums, bass, two guitars, keys, horns and three vocals is a 32-to-48 input show before anybody adds a guest. We build the patch for that from the start, with networked stage boxes and a monitor engineer dedicated to the band.
Soul lives in the vocal. We mix and tune so the lead voice sits on top of a big band without shouting, and we build monitor mixes that let the singer work the crowd instead of fighting the wedge.
Southern soul bills often run four or five artists sharing one band. That is a changeover discipline as much as an audio one: shared backline, saved console scenes and per-artist lighting palettes recalled instantly.

Lighting is pacing. It tells the crowd when to breathe and when to lose it. We design the rig, then program the show cue by cue so the energy lands on the beat instead of near it.
STAGE
WE BUILD THE PLATFORM.
The stage is the structure everything else hangs from. Decks, roof, ground support, barricade and rigging get engineered first — because the show only exists if the platform is safe.
