THE STREET
Four blocks. Closed at sunrise.
01
THE BRIEF
The city wanted a free outdoor festival that felt like a ticketed event, across four closed downtown blocks with a single stage anchoring the far end.
02
THE CHALLENGE
Open air with residential property inside 400 feet. The system had to reach the far fence at full energy while staying inside a sound ordinance — and the whole build had to survive a Gulf South afternoon.
03
THE BUILD
- 01
Mobile stage with a wind-rated roof and a monitored anemometer tied to a written severe-weather plan.
- 02
Main hangs aimed tight with two delay towers, so the far fence got level from the delays instead of from the mains.
- 03
Cardioid sub array to pull low frequency off the residential side by roughly 15 dB.
- 04
Generator power with distro to stage, LED and vendor rows, load-balanced and metered.
- 05
Crowd flow, barricade and egress designed with the city before a single case rolled.
04
THE MOMENT

Sundown. The LED wall came up, the delays locked in, and four blocks of people turned toward the same stage at the same second.

- 5,000+
